Discover the latest in scintillator technology from Dr. Kanai Shah, President of RMD. Dr. Shah earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Gujarat University in Gujarat, India. He received a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lowell in Lowell, Massachusetts. The focus of his master’s thesis was the mass transfer of carbon dioxide through catheters used in implantable drug delivery systems. Dr. Shah received his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. His thesis topic was “New Scintillation Detectors for PET”.
Radiation detection manufacturers spanning the entire range of detection needs will be present to engage participants interested in the latest advances in radiation detection technology – this year’s exhibit features over 20 vendors. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss radiation detection needs with each other, offering a unique environment solely focused on instrumentation and dosimetry.
