Large Format and High Volume Coatings
EMF operates twenty-six vacuum coating chambers and can handle large-scale optics up to 108” (2.75 m) in diameter with a weight up to 5,000 lbs (2,270 kg). Applications for these large scale coatings include flight simulator mirrors and astronomical mirrors.
