We produce a variety of high quality x-ray imaging arrays, these can be either linear or two-dimensional pixelated arrays and typically range from 5mm to 200mm in size. Individual pixels can be as small as 0.5mm depending on the scintillation crystal material and thickness. The white reflector between the pixels ensures isolation and that optical cross talk is minimised. Special constructions using high atomic number interleaving materials can also be used to minimise X-ray cross talk.
The imaging array can be coupled directly to a position sensitive photomultiplier tube (PMT), charge coupled device (CCD) array or linear photodiode to form a complete assembly. Flexibility in manufacturing techniques ensure that a rapid quality service can be assured.
Applications include pharmaceutical quality assurance, medical and industrial X-ray imaging such as mammography, X-ray baggage and cargo screening at airports and other venues and space exploration applications.
