Transmission Grating Beamsplitter for He-Ne Lasers

Optometrics transmission grating beamsplitters are commonly used for laser beam division and multiple laser line separation in visible wavelengths to diffract the transmitted beam into multiple orders.

They consist of an index matched epoxy replica on a polished glass substrate resulting in high total efficiency. These beamsplitters are designed specifically for useful division of He-Ne lasers.

Several types of gratings are available that offer different dispersion and power distributions. The diffraction angle for any wavelength may be calculated using the grating equation for normal incident light.
