Holographic Diffraction Gratings with Dispersion @ 250 nm (nm/mr) 0.82 and Size Tolerance ±0.5 mm
These replicated diffraction gratings are produced on soda lime glass substrates from high quality holographic master gratings and are intended for use in spectrometers and monochromators where low cost and low stray light are of primary concern.
Holographic diffraction gratings, due to their sinusoidal groove profile, have a flatter spectral response while ruled gratings have a sharper spectral response around their blaze wavelength. Applications centered around a narrow wavelength range could benefit from a ruled grating blazed at that wavelength.
Damage Thresholds
Any standard Dynasil diffraction grating is available with either P-type or CW-type construction for higher damage threshold performance. They can also be produced on substrates with a lower coefficient of thermal expansion (Low CTE) for better stability. No damage threshold minimums apply to diffraction gratings with an overcoat. Low CTE and P-type diffraction gratings are available on a custom order basis. Please contact us for pricing.
