Protected Gold Mirror
A protected gold mirror coating is ideal for applications requiring high reflectance in the Near Infrared (NIR) and Infrared (IR) wavelengths. Since a durable coating is necessary for most applications, EMF offers its protected gold mirrors with an overcoat. This dielectric overcoat is layered over the gold coating to protect it from damage and make cleaning easier. EMF protected gold mirrors are relatively insensitive to the angle of incidence.
