Silver coated mirrors are used for high reflectance applications in the visible and infrared spectrum. EMF’s protected silver mirrors have an overcoat of SiO to increase durability to meet the adhesion, abrasion, temperature and humidity requirements of Mil-M-13508C.  The overcoat is helpful for protecting the silver layer from tarnishing, but avoid use in high humidity environments. Contact EMF if you’d like custom protected silver mirrors in different shapes and sizes.
