Silver Mirrors

Silver mirrors are used for high reflectance applications in the visible and infrared spectrum. Dynasil’s silver coatings have an overcoat of SiO to increase durability to meet the adhesion, abrasion, temperature and humidity requirements of Mil-M-13508C.  The overcoat is helpful for protecting the silver layer from tarnishing, but avoid use in high humidity environments.
