Computer Controlled Tunable Light Source

A TLS is used to maximize throughput in the visible region of the spectrum. Optometrics’ Computer-controlled Tunable Light Source (TLS) comes with a simple wavelength selection software that allows for specific wavelength selection as well as the ability to scan over a spectral range with selectable wavelength increments. The diffraction grating can be rotated using software control to allow only a few nanometers of light to pass through the fiber optic adapter or cable. Communications are provided via a USB 2.0 interface. A RS-232C serial communications interface is also available as an option.

If our standard computer-controlled TLS configuration does not suit your application-specific needs, we can put together a custom TLS system that better suits your specific requirements. We can configure a system utilizing any of our monochromator models or we can work with you to design a model to cover a specific wavelength range.
