Founded in 1936, Evaporated Metal Films (EMF) was the first company in the US to offer thin film coatings. 26 vacuum coating chambers offer 40 million square inches of coating capacity annually, enabling high volume production as well as supporting coatings on large format optics up to 108” in diameter and 5,000 lbs.
