9,10-Diphenylanthracene (DPA) Organic Scintillation Crystal
Organic scintillation crystals are polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon compounds that exist in single crystalline form. They are typically grown from solution or by melt-based methods such as the Bridgman technique. Under ionizing radiation, they emit scintillation light in the wavelength region of 325nm (Naphthalene) to 650nm (Rubrene) with a decay time of the order of 1 to 50ns. Some organic crystals can perform neutron/gamma pulse shape discrimination (PSD) such as Stilbene and 9,10-Diphenylanthracene – DPA organic scintillation crystal.
RMD grows 9,10-diphenylanthracene (DPA) organic scintillation crystals using the solution growth technique.
